A consular officer can issue a certificate in English based on an Estonian Criminal Records Database notice, which will be signed by the consular officer and carry the embassy’s official stamp.

The list of required documents is as follows:
- Application form – the office from where document is applied for is the Embassy of Estonia in Canberra.
- A copy of the applicant’s passport with the handwritten notation “True copy + date + signature” or a digitally signed copy using your Estonian Id-card.
- Notice from the Criminal Notice Database, which can be ordered directly from the Criminal Records Register at https://www.rik.ee/et/karistusregister. The notice must be digitally signed by the Criminal Records Database (RIK) or sent directly from their database to the email address [email protected]. For futher questions, please contact directly the Criminal Records Database user support at [email protected]. We recommend including archived data to the notice.
- A payment receipt confirming the state fee payment. State fees in Australian dollars are updated monthly due to exchange rate fluctuations. The updated state fee amount and the embassy’s bank account details can be found here.
